a thought that become a story

Chills ran up my spine. We were traveling 90 MPH through the Tunnel of Despair. Something wasn't right about this journey, but I couldn't tell what it was. Was is the fact that we were traveling east and so was the smoke, although the wind was blowing west? Was it the fact that I was surrounded by people who I have never met, but they looked familiar? Was it the fact that I woke up and expected to be in my calm and quiet house, but I awoke on a hectic and loud train? I would never find out, nor would I not.
-------------------------------that was the intro(i guess??)-------------------------
"Shut up!" I moaned at my mom.
"The train is leaving."
"What train?" I opened my eyes and not only found that I was on a train, but the person I was talking to was indeed not my mother and looked like a potential devil. She had shoulder-length, bushy blonde hair, like me, except she was like, 8 feet tall. Sorta like... a minotaur?
"The train to Death," said the voice matter-of-factly. I realized there was a faint growl within the voice.
"Wait, why the heck am I here?"
"Come, you must meet the others," ushered the voice, completely ignoring my question.
I walked through the maze of seats and followed the monster-ish woman to the caboose of the train. There was a group of people I had never recognized standing right in front of me, but for some reason it feels like I have met them.
A brown-haired version of the women turned around and growled,"You are here because you have had wishes for others to die. This is a terrible wish, which you will learn on this train."
Another monster-woman turned around, but she had red hair."This is battle for something. Not a battle for money or a new car, a battle to obtain the golden egg. As some of you might've noticed, this train contains over 200 cars and the golden egg has been hidden somewhere in here.
"Our journey to Death will take us exactly one year. You must be the one to obtain that golden egg at the end of the year. All the others will suffer for life."
"So they die?" questioned a man wearing blue.
"No, much much worse," said the blonde one grimly."The egg can be stolen from you at any time, even when you're sleeping. You are not permitted to kill anyone during this journey, but you are allowed to harm. If you kill, you will be sacrificed to the King of Death. You are allowed nothing but the supplies in the train and the clothes on your back. Battle will commence tomorrow. Have fun." All the monsters gave us a wicked smile, and I knew this wasn't going to be as easy as it sounds.

i'll write more later... maybe.
